About

WarpKit started as a group chat where a few of us kept sending each other screenshots and rants about mobile games. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly, so here we are — a small independent site with no publisher breathing down our necks.

We don't chase every new release. A game earns a review by actually holding our attention past the first tutorial. We look at how it plays on mid-range phones, not just flagship devices, because that's what most people are holding.,Every review is based on real playtime. Someone on the team installs the game, plays it across a few sessions, checks how the controls hold up, watches the battery percentage, and pokes at the settings menu to see what you can actually turn off. Only after that do we write.,We keep things transparent. If a game frustrated us, we say so. If it surprised us, we say that too. Nobody here gets paid to hand out high scores, and we're happy to explain how any number ended up where it did.
