Nitro Drift Alley

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Nitro Drift Alley isn't a simulator and doesn't pretend to be. It's pure arcade drifting — long, sweeping slides through glowing city corners with a boost meter that rewards style. The tilt controls are decent, but I switched to the on-screen steering and never looked back.

The tracks are short, which makes it ideal for a few minutes on a break. There's a light progression system that unlocks new cars and paint jobs, and none of it is gated behind grinding.

It's not deep, and it doesn't want to be. But the handling feels good, the sense of speed is real, and it barely dents the battery on the lower graphics setting.
